Price Viewer Data Management

Within the Price Viewer, data can be added or edited via bulk upload using CSV files or manually using specific functions available to logged in users.

Bulk Data Upload​

Once logged in, users can upload multiple data records by selecting the Upload CSV Prices icon, which opens the CSV upload dialog window. The CSV files need to be formatted according to certain system requirements prior to uploading them into the FPMA Tool.

Once the CSV file upload dialog window is open, follow these steps:

  1. Select Choose File to upload the desired CSV file. The system will check for compliance with the FPMA Tool's CSV file specifications. If the file fails to meet the requirements, a list of warnings will be displayed, pinpointing any errors that must be fixed in the CSV file. All errors must be corrected before re-uploading the file to continue.

    1. If no warnings are issued, click the Confirm Upload button to finalize the data upload process.

A system-generated notification will confirm the successful upload of the CSV file. Additionally, users can verify the completion of the upload by checking the task logs.

Editting Data Manually​

Logged in users can manually add or edit data under the "Chart Data" visualization feature:

To input new data, select the +Add button, which will prompt a dialog box to appear (see further instructions below).

To manually update existing price data, double-click on the desired data cell, input the new value, and press Enter on your keyboard to apply the change.

The refresh button allows users to instantly view any changes to the data.

To remove an existing price data, highlight the row of the targeted record and press the x Delete button. A dialog box will appear; click Confirm Deletion to proceed with the removal.

To manually input new price data, please follow these steps:

  1. Click the +Add button to open the dialog box.
  2. Choose the correct time period for which you want to input the new price data.
  3. Input the new price data. The system will generate statistics and notify you of any potential outliers.
  4. Press Enter to finalize the input process.
