User Management
Users with the appropriate authorizations can manage access to their instance of the FPMA Tool. User and group information can be updated by navigating to User Management in the main menu of the FPMA Admin Tool.
Users will be prompted to re-enter their FPMA Tool username and password in order to access the user management page.
The user management page enables the authentication and authorization of users and groups for the specific instance of the FPMA Tool.

Add a New User
To add a new user:
- Click on the
+Addbutton next to Users. - Enter the desired username and password.
- Select the appropriate option to save the new user's access credentials.
Note
It will be necessary to share the access credentials with the new user as no system-generated confirmation email will be sent to notify them of the newly created account.

- In the Permissions region, roles can be assigned to users. The Active flag is used to enable user access.
- To enable the System Administrator role, both the Staff status flag and the Superuser status flag need to be checked.
- In addition to these flags, roles should be assigned in the Permissions region. This process ensures that users have the appropriate access and permissions for their roles.
- Personal user information such as First Name, Last Name, and Email Address can be updated.
- The History button located at the top right provides a list of changes made to the user.

Add a New Group
To add a new group:
- Click on the
+Addbutton next to Groups. - Enter the desired group name.
- Select the applicable option to save the newly created group.
